Submitted By Administrator on Wednesday, June 10, 2020
The Ontario Hockey Federation board of directors has approved the OHF Return to Hockey Framework.

Please click on the link below to review the OHF Return to Hockey Framework.

Essentially, the OHF framework for Return to Hockey is as follows,

Phase 1 - Protect & Support

Phase 2 - Restart, Protect & Support

  • Stage 1 - Individual In-Person Training & Group Virtual Training (Licensed Skill Development Program Instructor Required)
  • Stage 2 - Group Development Programming (Licensed Skill Development Program Instructor Required)
  • Stage 3 - Informal Programming
  • Stage 4 - Traditional Hockey (Introduction of 5 on 5 hockey)

Phase 3 - Recover, Protect & Support

We are currently in Phase 2, Stage 1. Southpoint Minor Hockey's Return to Play committee will be working on developing a corresponding plan for our association in the coming weeks, that includes possibilities for each Stage, and identifying safety protocols required at our facilities in Leamington & Wheatley.

As the situation is very fluid, further information will be communicated as it becomes available.
