GREAT WEEKEND AT THE CAPITALS CUP CHALLENGE

This weekend all four Southpoint hockey teams who participated in the Capitals Cup Challenge advanced to the finals on Sunday.

 Our Capitals teams played some exciting hockey Sunday with our Atom Minor & Bantam AE teams taking the Championship in their respective divisions.
Final scores

Minor Atom Southpoint 5    Essex 0
Bantam AE Southpoint 3    Tillsonburg 1

Also our Minor Peewees & Minor Midgets played well enough to advance to the finals but just came up short Sunday  against South Kent & Woolwich


We would also like to thank Chris and Tara Church for all their efforts organizing the tournament yet again, you both did a great job, as well to the many volunteers who helped make the weekend a success.

Overall it was a great weekend.
