This Tournament is part of the 2023-2024 season, which is not set as the current season.
PrintGeneral Information
Essex Early Bird purpose is to get the players back on the ice early in the season to have fun and shake the rust off before your season starts.  This should be a  positive experience and get you ready for your league play.
Any abuse of an ice official, opposing team player or parent, a member of your own team, arena employee or tournament volunteer will not be tolerated, Complaints will go to the Tournament committee. Any decision by the tournament committee is final without appeal.

Tournament Format
All round robin games are 10-10-10 ST with no OT)
Semi Finals or Championship are 10-10-12 ST, If tied 10 min 3 on 3 sudden death OT followed by 3 Person Shootout,
if tied sudden death Shootout. 
In a Division of 4 you play a round robin followed by Semi Final then Finals.
In a Division of 5 you play a round robin. Top two teams move on to the Finals.
In a Division of 6 you  play a round robin. Top 4 move on to Semi Finals, winners advance to the final.

General Information
- If a team has a 5 goal lead in the 3rd period, the clock will run until the lead is back to two.
- Games can start up to 15 minutes early.
- Mouth Guards are Mandatory.
- Neck Guards are Mandatory.
- Referees decisions are FINAL.
- HOME TEAM wears WHITE/LIGHT.
- Awards for Champions and Finalist.
- OMHA Rules Apply.
