The third game
was between Community Trophy and Windsor White. Our Southpoint girls
worked hard at both ends of the rink. Passing was better and the defense
played strong. Even then, goalie Courtney Jeffery had to make a number of
key saves which earned her a shut-out. Four goals were scored by
Southpoint. Alyssa Lamb had a hat trick with Erin Hopper assisting on one
of the goals. Kaitlynn Pickard had the fourth goal on a wild scramble in front
of the net and Ava Hildebrandt assisted. The same forward line and
defensive pairing (Erin Hopper and Tara Tiessen) were on for all 4 goals.
