Players must be registered by August 13, 2022 or will be put on a wait list.

Registration Requirements
Respect In Sport
- This is a Hockey Canada and Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) requirement.
- Effective August 31, 2014, the ‘Respect in Hockey’ initiative will require all Team Officials, On-ice Volunteers, On-Ice Officials and Parents to take the appropriate ‘Respect’ education.
- At least one parent or guardian of each player registered in minor hockey in the OMHA will be required to complete the Respect in Sport - Parent Program as a condition of participation. The one-hour online course is a proactive, educational program that empowers parents with the tools to ensure the game is enjoyable and respectful for themselves, their children and all other stakeholders in the game.
- First time players will need to email in a copy of there child’s birth certificate to [email protected]
- This course is mandatory in order for your child to be eligible to play.

Rowan's Law
- This is a Hockey Canada requirement.
- All Registered Participants registering or volunteering must have completed a review of the information and acknowledgement prior to registration/participation.
- For OMHA and OWHA participants. The on-line registration process will include a method to review the documentation & provide acknowledgement prior to completing the registration. A Rowan's Law Acknowledgement form can be found by clicking here
Where do I register?
New Parents: There are 2 registration pathways to follow:
Southpoint Stars: This is the OWHA - Ontario Womens Hockey Association
Southpoint Capitals: This is the OMHA - Ontario Minor Hockey Association
Typically, both boys and girls will join the OMHA development program until U9 (Novice), when the girls have the choice to remain in the OMHA (Capitals) or move to an all girls team (Stars).
