Become a Referee!

Hope everyone is having a great kick off to summer! As we look towards the upcoming hockey season, we are looking to recruit some new referees to add to our group. We are looking for individuals that have 2005, 2006 & 2007 birth years (15-17 years old as of December 31, 2022) only, to possibly attend the OMHA Referee School in September.
In the past, this has been a 3-day stay in Windsor, though this year it will be a 2-day event, with no overnight stay. If selected, we will go over details such as times, location, possible carpool, anything you may need to bring, etc.
We are able to send 5 participants to the school, costs are as of yet unknown. The cost will cover the in-class and the on-ice training. Deadline to apply is June 20!
If anyone older than these ages are interested in becoming a referee, although this clinic isn’t available to you, there are the traditional clinics available in the fall as well.
